Our experienced team of attorneys has extensive experience in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense, Bankruptcy, and Probate and Estates. Workman Law Firm was started in 2012 by Todd Workman. Todd's guiding philosophy for his law firm is to give clients clear and straightforward advice on complex areas of the law. He believes that a good lawyer makes things as simple as possible for his clients to understand. Todd and the rest of the Workman Law Firm team help clients find the most direct path through life's most difficult times. Todd A. Workman has extensive experience in the areas of Criminal Defense‚ Bankruptcy, and Family Law. Todd’s guiding concern is to give his clients clear and straightforward advice on complex areas of the law. He believes that a good lawyer makes things as simple as possible for his clients to understand. Todd helps his clients find the most direct path through life’s most difficult times. He firmly believes that every client deserves respect‚ patience‚ and compassion.

Todd counsels individuals‚ families‚ business owners‚ trustees‚ executors‚ and guardians. His previous experiences as an instructor‚ sales agent‚ and guardian ad litem serve him well in counseling clients regarding family dynamics‚ economics‚ and criminal issues.

Todd is a member of the Wyandot Bar Association where he has served as vice-president and president. He is also an active member of the Delaware Bar Association‚ The Ohio State Bar Association‚ The American Bar Association‚ and The Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also enjoys providing pro bono assistance to those in need through the Delaware Law Clinic. Todd also serves as a voluntary member of the Stratford Ecological Center development board.

Todd is licensed to practice thoughout the State of Ohio in all Municipal‚ County‚ and State Courts. He is also Licensed to practice in The United States District Courts of Ohio (Northern and Southern Districts)‚ The United States Bankruptcy Courts of Ohio (Northern and Southern Districts)‚ and The United States Tax Court.

Todd lives with his wife and son in Delaware‚ Ohio. He is originally from Galion‚ Ohio and is a graduate of Hilliard High School. Todd has lived in central Ohio for the past thirty–five years and enjoys being able to assist those in his community.

Taisha A. Spears joined Workman Law Firm in December 2024 and provides essential support to both our clients and our legal team. Her exceptional multitasking abilities and strong background in customer service allow her to deliver detailed, reliable assistance throughout each case. From criminal defense and family law matters to bankruptcy issues, Taisha is involved from start to finish, ensuring clients receive consistent, attentive care.

In her role, Taisha facilitates regular client communication, manages case calendars and deadlines, and coordinates the discovery process. She also drafts pleadings and correspondence, maintains case files and documentation, and plays a key role in preparing for meetings, hearings, and trials.
​
Understanding that many clients face emotionally challenging situations, Taisha offers a calm, supportive, and empathetic approach. She works closely with clients, providing clear explanations of legal procedures while helping them navigate each step of the process. In addition to her direct work with clients, Taisha serves as a liaison between clients and attorneys, ensuring open, ongoing communication throughout the duration of their cases.

Taisha is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology at The Ohio State University, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Her studies focus on law and society, with a minor in Forensic Science. She is also collaborating with a PhD candidate on research addressing mental health challenges faced by individuals reintegrating into society after incarceration.

Born and raised in Bucyrus, Ohio, Taisha graduated from Bucyrus High School in 2021. Outside of work, she enjoys music, the arts, and crocheting. Driven by a desire to help others with compassion and understanding, Taisha is committed to furthering her legal career and hopes to become an attorney in the future.
